How do i do this? 6x^4 + 9x^2 + 12x --------------------- 3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

use long division

Umm? Little more detail please?

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

No need for that. Just factor 3x from the numerator (since 3x goes into each term, this is possible)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So 3X divided by 6X^4 ?
