ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

hint : linear pair angles addup to 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I still dont know, can you walk me threw it?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

sure :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

:)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

3n + 17 + 4n + 16 = 180 solve n first

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

i saw few of ur videos in ur utube channel.. they're nice :)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

can u solve n above ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just give me a sec

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

okie

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

in case you're stuck :- 3n + 17 + 4n + 16 = 180 combine like terms 3n + 4n + 17+16 = 180 7n + 33 = 180 7n = 147 n = 21

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

\(m\angle EFG = 3n+17 = 3(21) + 17 = 63 + 17 = 80\) \(m\angle GFH= 180 - 80 = 100 \)

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

see if that makes some sense

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry for taking long, i'm a bit slow

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

its okay.. see if get the above work

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm sorry but i still dont get it. I have a bad time with numbers

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

lol who doesnt... keep practicing..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you help me out with this. First tell what i need to do and then i will try to solve and then ask for your help if needed.

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

do u see a little square box in the pic ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

little square box means, 90 degrees in geometry

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

|dw:1384844957384:dw|

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Since FCD is a straight line, 90 + 64 + x = 180 solve x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 26?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

Yes !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YES!

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

good job :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i think this one is 150

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

this time, question is not about finding the value of angle as such

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

question is just asking us to name the angle in two other ways, thats all

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

do u see angle \(w\) in the pic ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it an obtuse angle?

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

|dw:1384845615452:dw|

ganeshie8 (ganeshie8):

its acute angle oly, its just left facing, to trick u :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

mh ok
