WILL GIVE MEDAL! Which sentence contains a reflexive pronoun used incorrectly? Sara baked a cake for herself. Sara baked a cake for her. Ray told Mark he would be late. The gift means a lot to myself.

http://www.englishclub.com/grammar/pronouns-reflexive.htm I'm not entirely sure, but I think it's option 2.

Hello! :) The answer is "The gift means a lot to myself." Because, the others are actually answers questions. For example. "Sara baked a cake for herself" it tells you she baked a cake for who? herself. meaning there are no questions needing to be answered. But when you are saying "the gift means a lot to myself" that is incorrect, all you would have had to say was "the gift meant a lot" or "the gift means a lot" :) Hope I helped !!

Yes! ^ That's right. Sorry. It was early and I has been up late. :p
