Why does everyone ask us to solve equations/inequalities here when Wolfram|Alpha can do so?!

It doesn't always have a correct or relavent answer. After all, it's only a program. It doesn't always understand what you want.

Wolfarm Alpha only provides you with answers and difficult methods in solving problems. They also don't provide you with an efficient way of learning. They teach you the more difficult way of a certain problem.

the textbook and class materials also provide steps ... OS offers perspectives, it offers people who have struggled and learned who can guide you along the way.

a lot of times i notice its a catch-22 , to understand how to use the tools of wolfram and interpret the results correctly you would already need to know the material
thus should only be used to check answers and OS is still needed to teach material, show steps, etc.
