OpenStudy (amistre64):

critical points deal with end points and where the derivative is equal to zero, or undefined.

OpenStudy (amistre64):

the top of the sqrt is missing so i cant tell what the function is actually spose to be :/

OpenStudy (amistre64):

\[g=\sqrt{48~}~\sin+12\cos\]??

OpenStudy (amistre64):

if so, then those are just constants attached to trig functions y = a sin + b cos y' = a cos - b sin there are no undefined parts therefore find the zeros b sin = a cos sin/cos = a/b tan = a/b
