a=L*W*H solve for H

OpenStudy (anonymous):

H = a / LW

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Since L W H are being multiplied by each other and you want to get H alone , do the inverse. The inverse of multiplication is division therefore you divide L*W*H by L*W and what you do to one side you MUST do to the other . when you divide both sides by LW your final answer is \[\frac{ a }{ LW } = H \]
