OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is Dimples are dominant to no dimples Dd - ? DD - ? dd - ?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

dominant means upper case letters.

OpenStudy (221emily):

If you have "DD" that meant that they are dominant and they only carry the dominant gene if you have "Dd" then they are dominant but also they carry the recessive gene, when some one is dominant but is also carrying the recessive gene it means the there is still the possibility that their offspring may be recessive for that particular gene. But if you have "dd" that means that they are only carrying the recessive gene. However their offspring could be dominant when paired with a dominant carrier.
