It has too many people hooking up and using OS as a dating site, just like what happens on Minecraft servers. It gets annoying after a while. Either that or I've become an old man way too early.

Well yea, but the chat is made to have( non)educational conversations with other students.
The normal study groups are for asking questions or something else if it's specified, like the feedback group is for suggestions/feedback/bugreports and stuff you can't post anywhere else (if it has something to do with openstudy or studying in general). What you post here has nothing to do with school or the site, so technically it would be considered spam. It would be better to post it on facebook or something similar. No offence though :P I don't mind it that much but it's against the code of conduct.

Okay, thanks for the info. Too bad I hate facebook, too much drama and craziness beyond what the site was made for. It really has become a source where faith in humanity can be obliterated in less than 10 minutes. :/

I totally agree! I only use my FB for sports, like if the coach has something to say to the team. But anymore it seems that it is nothing but drama and people posting pictures of themselves. I mean seriously? I don't care to see what you look like lol
