In a paragraph of at least three sentences, explain the tone of this excerpt from Little Brother. Provide details from the text to support your answer. "I decided that I couldn't run. That I had to face justice—that my freedom wasn't worth anything if I was a wanted man, or if the city was still under the DHS. If my friends were still locked up. That freedom for me wasn't as important as a free country."

@samsterz can ya help me?
"I decided that I couldn't run. That I had to face justice—that my freedom wasn't worth anything if I was a wanted man, or if the city was still under the DHS. If my friends were still locked up. That freedom for me wasn't as important as a free country." The tone of the passage above seems to show a character under tremendous guilt and seems contrite at heart. The character seems greatly distressed and burdened by being in the position of a wanted. This is demonstrated in the text when he says "that my freedom wasn't worth anything if I was a wanted man..." It is obvious this man is suffering and is distressed by being a wanted man and his text seems to exhibit a person under going a nervous breakdown.
