Identify the correct x intercept and y intercept of the equation x - 2y = 8. x intercept = (8, 0); y intercept = (0, 4) x intercept = (8, 0); y intercept = (0, -4) x intercept = (-8, 0); y intercept = (0, -4) x intercept = (-2, 0); y intercept = (0, 8)

you here still @kewlgeek555

OpenStudy (kewlgeek555):

Okay. I THINK what you can do since "x" represents an x-value and "y" represents a y-value, you first solve for x, making y=0. This would help you find the y-intercept. Then do the same to find the x-intercept.

I am not sure, though. That;s what I would do. But @mathstudent55 and @ganeshie8 can help you, too! :)
