Which set of points are on the line y = 2x - 4?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lots of them. anything that you make a value for x, and then what that would equal for y.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so it would be (x, 2x-4)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It's says "Which set of points" Does that mean there is answer choices?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

{(0, -4), (2, 3)} {(0, -4), (3, 2)} these are the two answers that I am coming up with my I need to get down to one of them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay so, the first set of points is true. 0,-4. but now you need a second one. so if you put 2 in for x, what does y equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you solve y = 2x-4 if x is 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you cannot find this i can help you if you let me know
