In my opinion, you should be able to do this roughly in your head. No need to pull out a calculator at a restaurant! Lol Round it to $20. 15% of any number is easy. Think of it as 10% 20 + 5% of 20 10% of 20 is easy. Just move the dot one place to the left. 20 ---->2 5% of 20 is just half of 10% of 20....1/2 of 2.......1 2 + 1 = 3 tip about 3 dollars
