This is a long shot but has anyone ever heard of a molecular probe called "Three-way junction probe and Template Enhanced Hybridization Processes (TeHyP)"? I've looked everywhere but i haven't found the reason for the melting temperature lowering upon hybridization of the target with the 2 complementary portions of the probe strands... If anyone knows why, i'd really appreciate it.
Never heard of this. If you find any information, do post. Sounds interesting.
haha thanks for the link, the paper it's talking about is actually one that I'm using for a report. When i do find more about it, it'll post it up here.
Can you help me with my question again?
asking for help on other people's questions is rude.
What a sneaky snake. Trying to pull a fast one. Haha.
