ORDER OF OPERATION P E M D A S do whatever is in the Parenthesis first then Exponent if you see any then Multiplication or Division, whichever comes first from left to right finally, Addition and Subtraction, whichever comes first from left to right

8 - (4-4) x 18 do Parenthesis 4-4 = 0 then do multiplication (4-4) x 18 will become <---- 0 x 18 = 0 then do subtraction 8 - 0 = 8
