Complex numbers, Can you please help me understand why this equation is correct? https://www.dropbox.com/s/2rdonhyjtjqxmgy/Screenshot%202013-11-20%2021.05.18.jpg

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

\(\bf \cfrac{2}{\sqrt{2}}\implies \cfrac{2}{\sqrt{2}}\cdot \cfrac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}\implies \cfrac{2\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2^2}}\implies \cfrac{\cancel{2}\sqrt{2}}{\cancel{2}}\)

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

keep in mind that all I did is multiply it by 1, that is \(\bf \cfrac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}=1\) and any value times 1 is itself
