\(\bf \cfrac{2}{\sqrt{2}}\implies \cfrac{2}{\sqrt{2}}\cdot \cfrac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}\implies \cfrac{2\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2^2}}\implies \cfrac{\cancel{2}\sqrt{2}}{\cancel{2}}\)

keep in mind that all I did is multiply it by 1, that is \(\bf \cfrac{\sqrt{2}}{\sqrt{2}}=1\)
and any value times 1 is itself
