The question is on the bottom, and the answer options are the graphs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I saw you post this kind of question twice. Do you want to know how to get the answer or just the answer?

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you want to study or you want the answer only?

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

I want to know how to get the answer if that answers your question.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

The other times people have helped me, and I completed a ton by myself. But I'm stumped again.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

@OOOPS why do you ask?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok, I 'll try. Your problem asked about which graph is the graph of f(x)= |x|, right? It means the value of f(x) is always positive. Got me or not?

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Yup!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x can be negative, can be positive, but y is always positive, you have 3 graphs |dw:1384981179110:dw|

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Huh?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If f(x) is always positive.... then... it always above the x-axis. Thats the mose we can give you.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Yes, That makes sense to me. But then for some reason I'm still confused.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Because one of the options is this 0 one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So, look at your graph choices. Does the (0,0) one go negative at all? Yes, so rule that out.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Okay, and then the negative one is negative. That means the only thing left is positive! Thanks buddy!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good. Good luck with the rest of your work.

OpenStudy (pixiedust1):

Thank you! :D
