"The sum of the digits of a two-digit number is 10. " means 'the ADDING of two numbers is 10' so, how can you think to set up that equation?

correct, good job ^_^

"The difference of the original number and the number obtained by reversing the digits is 18." the Difference means subtraction. so, 'The SUBTRACTION of the original number and the number obtained by reversing the digits is 18.' what else can you see from this sentance?

This was where I was stuck. I would say y-x=18, but x and y in the first equation are different variable so that wouldn't be right, would it? (Thanks so much for helping me btw!)
