Do you remember the equation for a linear line or slope?

You could graph each equation as well to determine if it's linear or not. Do you remember what your basic functions look like, for example x, x^2, abs x, etc?

I presume there can be more than two answers?
There is more than one function I can see that will not graph a linear line.
A and B would both graph as parabolic, B having a vertical asymptote at x = -0.5
