medial given! The local pizzeria sold 264 slices of pizza totaling $810.00. Cheese pizza costs $2.50 a slice and pepperoni pizza costs $3.25 a slice. How many slices of each pizza were sold? Let c represent cheese pizza and p represent pepperoni pizza. A. c = 64, p = 200 B. c = 72, p = 192 C. c = 132, p = 132 D. c = 200, p = 64

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

cheese slices = c pepperoni slices = p what 's "c" and "p"? well, we dunno but we know they sold 264 of those... so we can say that \(\bf c+p=264\) so "c" is $2.50 each, and "p" is $3.25 each, they sold total of $810, so we can say that they sold 2.50 * c " of cheese slices" and 3.25 * p " of pepperoni slices" so we could say that \(\bf 2.5c+3.25p = 810\) so you have a system of equations, solve by substitution

64 and 200 so A
