Describe the energy transformations which occur as the Sun’s radiant energy passes through a glass window into an enclosed space. How is this energy converted from its original form to wind and rain?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The sun's energy creates heat (which is a form of energy) and heats up the air. Things naturally move along a high to low gradient. So the warm air will diffuse into an area with cooler air creating winds. For rain, the heat of the sun simply heats up water to a point where it becomes gas; the gas rises, cools down, and precipitates as rain.
