Need help trying to set up the equations for these problems.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[1600\times e^{.0425\times 5}\] and a calculator

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so the .0425 is decimal form of 4 1/4 % while 5 is the years and 1600 is the principal. What about number 2 on the page since it is showing A instead of P?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[15900=P\times e^{.056\times 5}\] solve for \(P\)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get 15900/e^.056*5 this is where I get stuck

OpenStudy (anonymous):

now it is a calculator exercise

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get 75170.36 with calc

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ah never mind i didnt put a parenthesis around the exponents thanks got it.
