Question

I need to see if the thesis I have come up with is debatable at all, since that is one of the requirements. What do you guys think?

"In the Odyssey, Homer shows hubris as a detrimental quality, that it is not desirable or beneficial. He illustrates this through the characters of Odysseus, Antinous, and Polyphemus."

This isn't exactly my final idea, and I may reword it. Anyway, can someone explain whether it is debatable enough to pass as such?
