What is the solution to the equation? 2q + 18 = -5q - 3 A. q = -5 B. q = -3 C. q = 3 D. q = 5

Sorry but I have forgotten the formula. However, it took me a while with replacing the numbers for the variable. But I have come with an answer( which I will show). I thought that it should be B because.. 2(-3)+18=-5(-3)-3 When you evaluate both sides, you get 12=12. I think that the answer is B.
