What is the x-intercept of the line -4x-2y=28?

OpenStudy (kc_kennylau):

Remember, x-intercept is when y=0 and y-intercept is when x=0 :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2y=4x+28 then divide by 2 to isolate for y which makes its y=2x+14, then either use quadratic formula t find x intercepts or factor.. in this case 2(x+7), therefore the x intercepts are x=7 :D
