3/6 * 2/8
Any ideas?
1/8 is the answer in fractions
Two multiply fractions you multiply their numerators and multiply their denominators.
$$\huge \frac{a}{b}*\frac{c}{d}=\frac{ac}{bd}$$
im confused
Simplify each fraction first.
$$\huge \frac{3}{6}=\frac{1}{2}$$
$$\huge\frac{2}{8}=\frac{1}{4}$$
okay how did you get those answers
In math you need to simplify things to make them less confusing.
im in collage but im taking the basic witch is called basic college mathematics its cause im not good at math
Divide the numerator and the denominator by the same nonzero number.
@ forzamilann who asked you mind our own business
okay so know were left with 1/2 and 1/4 so do the same thing again since 2 can go into 4
