Which of the ordered pairs in the form (x, y) is a solution of this equation? 3x-y/4=11 (3, –8), (4, 4) *y/4 is a fraction*

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

just sub in your points and see which one is true

Directrix (directrix):

Take the equation and substitute in for the values of x and y and see if they make the equation true. For example, 3x - y/4 = 11 x =3, y = –8 Does 3*3 - (-8)/4 = 11 ? If not, go to the next set of points.
