Write in set builder form x={0,3,6,9,12}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am in class 8 :(

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

x={x| ∊ N 0 ≤ 3x ≤ 9}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What? :o

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

consult with the purple guys

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You used x such that and belongs to together.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

my set-builder notation is kind of rusty

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

such that x is |x x={x| x ∊ N, 0 ≤ 3x ≤ 9}

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Good :D

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

N is the natural number 1, 2, 3 etc where 0 is greater than or equal to 3x and 3x is less than or equal to 9 solving for x is dividing them by 3 so you can say that your range is just 3 0,1,2,3 but your codomain is 0,9 your domain is set of all natural numbers 1,2, 3, etc

@nincompoop I am really sorry about the network issue. Can you tell me whether these sets are equal? {1,3,3,3,5,5,5,5,5} ,{5,3,1}
