if u solve the equation u have, by squaring
\[\large \sqrt{4x-6}=\sqrt{x} \]
\[\large 4x-6=x\]
\[\large 3x=6 \]
\[\large x=2 \]
right?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Correct !
OpenStudy (helder_edwin):
now, if u replace x=2 into the original equation, does it actually solve the equation?
OpenStudy (helder_edwin):
i.e., is it a valid solution?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yes :o
