Please Help me Asap: Medal rewarded. In what way did climate change affect Ghana's position in the trans-Saharan trading networks? The larger floods of the Niger River made consistent trade impossible. The rise in temperature in West Africa made insect-born disease more common. The desertification of Kumbi Saleh made it less important as a trade post. The rise in temperature made food production difficult for large kingdoms.

yes, that answer is the most logical. Ghana was located along the Niger river. Rising temperatures would cause mosquitos to bread. Mosquitos may be harmless in America, but in Africa they are well known for carrying water born pathogens and diseases suck as malaria and yellow fever
