Describe in paragraph form how to graph the equation y = 4(2)x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the equation is written correctly, then it could also be written as y = 8x. If this is the case, then the slope of this line is 8 or 8/1 and the y-intercept is 0. To graph the line, you need to have two points. The first point, based on the y-intercept of 0, would be (0,0). The second point, on a coordinate plane, would be up 8 and right 1, from point (0,0), since the slope is 8. So your graph would be a straight line that intersects with points (0,0) and (1,8). HOPE IT HELPS!!!
