f(x)=(2x-1)/(5x+3) y inercept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

You want y to equal zero -> f(x) = y = 0 For that to be true, only the numerator needs to equal zero because (0/Any Number) = 0 So, your y-intercept will be at 2x - 1 = 0 ... Or at x = 1/2
