OpenStudy (sonyalee77):

A typical giant squid is about 240 ft long, which is 16 times the diameter of one of its eyes. The diameter of the giant squid's eye is about 14 in. true or false?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If I'm comprehending the question correctly; 14*16=240 224 = 240 since 224 does not equal 240 False Is that what you got?

OpenStudy (sonyalee77):

i think false is it 15 in.

OpenStudy (sonyalee77):

i really dnt get this part of algebra

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If the diameter of the eye was 15 it would be true, but since the diameter is 14 it's false.

OpenStudy (sonyalee77):

okay thanx.
