How do I do a substutition on this equation
7x+8y=0
2x+3y=-5
been working on it for 2hr need help please!

and plug it in equation (2) to find y
then plug back to equation (1) to find x

2x+3y =-5-------eqn(2)
2(-8y/7)+3y=-5
y= -7
then plu y into eqn (1)
x=(-8*-7)/7
x=8
x=8, y=-7

-16y/7=-5-3y
-16y = -35 - 21y
5y = -35
