3x-2y+3z=11 2x+3y+z=3 5x+14y-z+1 Substitution Method. Please Help me! Thank you

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well select the last equation and rewrite it as \[z= 5x + 14y -1 \] then substitute it into the 1st 2 equations, then you'll have 2 equations in 2 unknowns... you may repeat the process, pick an equation, make y the subject and substitute into the other equation... then solve for x.. hope this helps
