Recall a "first" in life: the birth of your first baby sibling, your first time driving, the first birthday party you remember, or another first. Write two paragraphs that describe this important event, paying particular attention to details and sequencing. Remember that details refer to the facts of observations an author includes or omits. Think of details as specifics. For example, if the author said she drove a Mustang, you wouldn't know much. However, if she said she drove a 1965 candy apple red Mustang convertible with baby soft white seats and polished chrome instruments, you would have a much better idea. Use proper spelling and grammar.

Okay. So, I know this might sound really heard...well not really because it's two paragraphs, but ANYWAYS. What I like to do for something that I don't feel like doing is I find a subject that I want to tell EVERYONE about. So, this is about a "first." Now, think of a "first" that you wish you could tell everyone. You were so happy, and this and that. I will give you an example. The first time I drove. So, my grandmother decided to risk here life to teach me to drive for only two blocks. And my grandmother was a horrible teacher because she is used to standard cars and not automatic, so she puts her feet on both the gas pedal and the brake. Anyways, I can't believe that the car seems to go so fast and I was only going 5 mph! And then, I didn't know how to brake and my grandmother almost hit her head on the dash! Luckily, we made it alive. :) So think of a "first" that you want to tell everybody, that way, ti will be easy to write two paragraphs...even three!
