A scientist is looking for a solution that is neither acidic nor basic. Which pH would identify a solution as neither acidic nor basic? A. 10 B. 1 C. 14 D. 7

Well I would say the answer would be 7, because this is t right in the middle of the ph scale neither to acidic or to alkaline/basic such as water which is around a ph of 7. At a ph of one 1 you would be dealing with acids such as sulfuric acid H2So4 and at 14 would be dealing with extremely alkaline substances such as bleach or lye, this would also be the same for a ph of 10 which would be like milk of magnesia.
