pitch is very closely connected to the frequency..
high pitch is high frequency (shrill annoying sound.. we are very sensitive to about 4000 to 5000hz.. u should check it out)
low pitch is low frequency

He should decrease the frequency. Lower frequency causes longer wavelengths, which causes lower pitch.
