This is what I was going to put:
First, find the sotions. The factors of -1 are +-1 and the factors of -6 are +-1, +-2, +-3, +-6. We know the factors but we have a problem with the equation. There are 2 sign changes. We either need to get one or none. So in every instance of x, we can replace it with -x. We are doing this because if you take a -*+, you get still get a - so nothing would happen to the equation. That is why we are changing ever x to -x. Once you do this, you have -x^4 - x^3 - 7x^2 - x - 6. Now we can use synthetic division to find one of our solutions.
