function

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it: 2x^3+3x^2-1/(x+1)^2 for the first derivative using the quotient rue?

OpenStudy (schrodingers_cat):

Do long division first and you get x^2 -x +1 Then take the derivatives from there. so y' = 2x -1 y'' = 2 Hope this helps :)
