Write the slope-intercept equation of the line perpendicular to y = 5/2 x - 2, which passes though the point (0, 2). Answer y = 5x + 2 y = -2/5x + 2 y = 2x + 5 y = 1/2x + 5

*dubstep first find the slope of a line that is perpendicular to y = 5/2 x - 2. the slope of this line is 5/2, becuase it is the coefficient infront of the 'x'. to find a line perpendicular, we flip this fraction, so now it's 2/5 and we times it by a -1, so is now -2/5. this is the slope of a line that is perpendicular to the line y = 5/2 x - 2 given.
