i think To prevent influence from Europe and the Americas because China had no trade route to the Africa's it had to come from other nations and china's trade was very limited.the black death started from northern china (Mongolia) so the great wall of china could protect them. answer choice a is correct because china thought their culture was the best and wanted to preserve it for the future they thought they were the strongest nation in the world so they didn't need outside information and didn't want cultures to combined and for their people to leave their own culture
