two students in your class, Wilson and Alexis, are disputing a function. Wilson says that for the function, between x = -1 and x = 1, the average rate of change is 0. Alexis says that for the function, between x = -1 and x = 1, the graph goes up through a turning point, and then back down. Explain how Wilson and Alexis can both be correct.

i know how to find the rate of change i just don't know how to do the turning point part.

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

turning point like this: |dw:1385249092998:dw| all that matters for avg rate of change is that the y value is zero when x=-1 and when x=1
