I really need help ! Find the equation of a line through (4, -3) that is parallel to the line that passes through these points (-4,7) and (2,4). Write your answer in standard form (Ax + By = C). Show all your work.

First, write it in point slope form: y - y1 = m ( x - x1) m is the slope....(x1,y1) is any point on your line. Do you know how to figure out what (x1,y1) to use? And what m needs to equal?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (nikato):

first, u want to find the slope between (-4,7) and (2,4). can u do that?
