List the angles of triangle WXY in order from smallest to largest.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

help and ill give you a medal

OpenStudy (nikato):

first, u have to find the measurement of each angle. how much is a right angle?

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

I am not too sure about this question but I can help you figure out the answer from my point. We know that a right angle is worth of 90 degrees. For the angle that says (2x+9) degrees, what I did is put this as to an equation of 2x+9=180(the total measures of angle In a triangle). I then solved for the value of x, and which I got 85.5 degrees. For the angle that says 2x+1 degrees, I put this question as to the same thing I did with (2x+9): 2x+1=180. I solved for the value of x, and I got, 89.5. We will order that to: 85.5, 89.5, 90 degrees.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

who do u do dat

OpenStudy (calculusxy):

@leslieRAXoh What do you mean by your reply, may I ask?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry....... how do u do that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i need help

OpenStudy (nikato):

ok, so we know a right angle is 90. and the total of a triangle is 180. so u can set up the following equation. 90+(2x+9)+(2x+1)=180, right?

OpenStudy (nikato):

@leslieRAXoh and then u solve for x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

howwwwwwww?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

do you know how to combine like terms ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

angle xwy, angle wyx, angle wxy is the order from smallest to largest

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is the answer

OpenStudy (nikato):

|dw:1385268798471:dw| we can combine tose two terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

quit just giving the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nikato is explaining

OpenStudy (nikato):

|dw:1385268890707:dw| and get that
