what you are asked to do is pick two people living between 180-1920 and their differing views on American role in the world. Ex. Theodore Roosevelt thought of America as the world police. A nation to keep the stability and peace in all nations In a sense that is imperialism because that gives liberty for america to make any arrest in the world without in a sense other countries say in anything. It's abuse of power. This could be something the opposing person of that time(whoever you choose could argue) Whoever you pick. I say do step 3 & step 4 very carefully and thoroughly so you can have a strong basis for both parties. They go hand in hand. Also give facts about how imperialism affected or affects the nations America is in that time. I don't think you can argue about facts in our time since the time frame is specific

OpenStudy (anonymous):

In summary you have to put yourself in the shoes of both opposing parties. Think and talk like they would

thank you so much for your help galacticwavesXX
