Current Events: Find something in the news this week that relates to one of the 27 amendments. Explain the event that just occurred and tell which amendment covers that type of incident. Graphics: Make a timeline of the fifteen amendments you think are most important. Place them in order on the timeline with the dates they were ratified. Write a sentence for each, telling why you think each amendment is so important to us in our own time. For examples of timelines, you can go to your favorite search engine and type in keywords, "examples of timelines." Written Assignment: Knowing what you do about when the amendments were ratified, predict if you think there will ever be any new amendments to the Bill of Rights. Predict what you think it will be about and tell why you think that.
