Convert the following decimal negative numbers to their 8-bit, 2’s complement formulation: -37, -72, -101

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-230

OpenStudy (ranga):

Take -37 for example. First write +37 in binary. Invert the digits. That is, replace 1 with 0 and 0 with 1. Add 1 to the result and that will be -37 in 8-bit two's complement.
