OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

What do I do first? do I subtract the 8?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

not possible to solve, so don't bother

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Oh yea no solution

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Teacher gave us the answers, but we have to show work, i'm having a little trouble with other ones

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you subtract \(8\) you get \[\sqrt{x+1}=-6\] which is out of the question, since \(\sqrt{x+1}\geq0\) no matter what \(x\) is

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

right thanks
