Please help me with this question: What was unique about the Swahili city-states in East Africa? A. The city-states were known as the "land of the gold," with leaders adorned in the precious metal. B. The Arab presence resulted in a new language, marriage with native Africans, and the construction of mosques in which to practice Islam. C. Large stone buildings were constructed there without the use of mortar. D. Their leader, Mansa Musa, built the city-states into cultural centers. I'm not sure which one to choose...
