Solve for y. 10 12 15 18

OpenStudy (anonymous):

whats the equation ...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok well its a supplementary angle which will equal 180 so add them both , set them equal to 180 and solve for y

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so its d right? @wendylisette

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hold up im tryna work it out

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ugh help me out i havent done geometry ina while

OpenStudy (anonymous):

me neither lol i need helppppp

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol ok but theyre supplementary for sure because when added they'll be 180 , we got that lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know that part lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

why did you guess d ? lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i hope you know i have my whole class tryna figure this issh out for you haha

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok i got it , set 3x = 90 and solve for x . it will give you x = 30 . then go on to the next side and plug in 3o for x and set the equation equal to 90 because that side is 90 as well 2 ( 30 ) + 3 y = 90 and solve you should get y = 10 .

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to check if its right plug the numbers in the variable , and add both equations , it should give you 180

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thanks. sorry i was busy working but thanks its correct :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you understand it ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yess clearly thanks :)
